Office 2019 is a version of Microsoft’s productivity software that can be bought once from a store or licensed in bulk.

The Office products are now installed with Click-to-Run instead of Windows Installer (MSI). But the way you activate these Office products—for example, by using Key Management Service (KMS)—remains the same.

Preparation

The product key is included with Office 2019 Professional Plus. If you’re installing Office for the first time, you should do some setup steps.

Sign in with an existing or new Microsoft account and enter your product key at office.com/setup before installing Office for the first time. Your account is linked to Office when you redeem your key, so you only have to do this once.

Office 2019 Professional Plus Download

Visit setup.office.com.

Sign in with your Microsoft account or create one if you don’t have one. Keep this account in mind so that you can install or reinstall Office in the future.

Enter Office 2019 Pro Plus’s product key to let Microsoft know it’s authorized. You can also choose your country.

Follow the steps, then click the next button to download your Office 2019 apps.

You’ll be logged into your Microsoft account page as soon as you confirm. The apps will show on the page for services and subscriptions.

Installing Office 2019

Go to Install Office on the page for your Microsoft account and choose your language and version of Office.

Office 2019 Professional Plus is set up in 32-bit mode by default. Even if your computer runs a 64-bit version of Windows, we recommend installing the 32-bit version of Office because it works better with apps and plug-ins that are compatible with Office.

Depending on your browser, select Run (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File after you’ve downloaded the installation file (in Firefox).

If you get a message from User Account Control asking, “Do you want to let this app change your device?” choose Yes.

The installation starts.

When you see the phrase, your installation is done, “You’re all set! Office is installed now,” and an animation shows you where to look on your computer for Office programs. Choose Close.

Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus has been set up and is now working.

Activate Office 2019

After the installation is complete, restart your computer.

Open any Office product, such as Word or Excel, and begin using it immediately.

In most cases, Office is activated when you launch an application and accept the License terms by clicking Accept.

The Office may start automatically. However, the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard may appear depending on your product. If so, follow the on-screen instructions to activate Office.

You may also download the Microsoft Office 2019 Pro Plus ISO file and use it for 30 days free. The official ISO files are listed below.

To obtain the ISO/IMG file, select your language and click the download link. The download should begin in a minute. It could take 10-20 minutes, depending on your internet speed.

Installation of Office 2019 ISO

Locate and right-click on the downloaded ISO file.

Select the mount option from the contextual menu. Please view the image below. It will mount the file as a virtual device and allow you to access it the same way as a DVD drive.

After this step, an Office device will appear on the left side of the same window under This PC. When you click on the new device, the files will be displayed on the right side of the window.

Finally, open the installation file by double-clicking it. The installer will choose the best Office version for your computer.

After installation, launch an office app. A new window will emerge after a few seconds, inviting you to enter the product key. You can ignore it and continue to use it for free for the next 30 days.
